The results are in and St Stephen’s has received first place in Queensland out of 253 schools and 13th in Australia for the Sustainable Oceans Student Competition. The competition ran between the 6th and 10th June to celebrate World Oceans Day. The students had to answer questions on marine habitats in Australia, climate change, the Great Barrier Reef, mangroves and coral propagation. Students who finish in the top 1000 nationally go into a draw for prizes, in which we have 18 students. A massive congratulations to the students who participated and Mr Miller for his mentoring.
