On Monday 4 March, author Pamela Rushby visited our school as part of our library program. Pamela spent time with students from year 7 – 10 throughout the day.Mrs Rushby discussed with the students where her ideas come from and how to turn those ideas into stories. She talked about her research and how to incorporate this into fictional stories. Pamela was a fascinating storyteller and has discovered some interesting titbits about Australian history when researching material for her novels. Her stories kept the audience enthralled. The students enjoyed their time with Mrs Rushby.
